Uncomfortably tight Date: August 27, 2009
We found these PJ's to be too tight on the arms to wear. Sleepwear that is not fireproof needs to be snug, but these are not snug, they are ridiculous. Other brands manage to be snug and actually fit. I would love to see Garnet Hill rethink the cut on the arms to something a bit more realistic, as the designs are great and we love the flannel PJ's.

I have been buying my son Garnet Hill long johns since he was a baby (he's 9 now). They always hold up wonderfully. They have actually never worn out. He grows out of them before they wear out. The designs are great and "cool" - which is important. LOL. My son has always liked them....also important, because he has a mind of his own. In a good way. : )

These long johns have held up through numerous washings without looking faded or worn. My child is slim and these fit comfortably. Perfect for year round wear outside of the few hot summer nights here.

These are a nice weight and keep my kids toasty warm in the cold months. They are snug fitting which is how they are meant to be worn. I agree with the other reviewers that these are little long waisted. I would definately recommend them!

Cute Prints, Small Size Date: July 22, 2009
I loved these PJ's because of these cute, original prints. The cotton is soft, however the size is extremely small. I purposely ordered a larger size so my sons could wear them longer but even in the larger size they were hard to put on because the arms and legs were so tight against their skin. They were uncomfortable and difficult to put on. So I would recommend ordering an MUCH larger size and not expect to wear them to long.

The quality of these pjs is excellent -- they wash wonderfully, and retain color and quality of material. My son loves wearing them. The sleeves are a little snug (and he's a slim kid), but they're very comfy for him. I'd buy them again, and recommend them to anyone.

We got the chicken Long Johns, and not only are they adorable, but they are extremely comfortable. Last winter our 3 year old wore them pretty much every night. And, even though it's hot summer here now, I keep them in the pajama drawer for those nights that she wants something a little warmer.

Unhappy With Fit Date: July 22, 2009
This is not the first time I purchased jammies fom GH. Each time, I am unhappy with the fit. Too tight in the arm, ankles too tight, cut too narrow in the body, doesnt' easily fit over head. My 8 year old is strong like bull. Very muscular. Perfect for his build. I had to size up to 12 to fit him, and they are still too narrow and tight in the arms.

Products like these are the reason I keep returning to Garnet Hill. These PJs come in terrific prints and are made from quality cotton. I would note that the fit is definitely slim and so not necessarily a comfy fit for a rounder tot.

My daughter loves the feel and looks of these long johns. She wears the pieces separately under her day clothes, as leggings, and for sleeping. So soft, comfortable and versatile!
She is a true size 10, and we ordered the 12, which is a comfortable fit. Highly recommended!

Great jammies Date: July 22, 2009
I really love these jammies. The cotton is soft and yet is heavy duty enough that I know it will last. I do wish the bottoms were a little shorter in the rise, though. I feel like my kids have to pull them up higher than they'd like or they have a poof of fabric in the front.

Great for slim kids Date: March 11, 2009
My daughter is above-average height and slim. These long johns fit her perfectly. She loves the softness of the organic cotton. They also wash well. When purchasing, keep in mind that they are long johns, so they will and should be snug.

Not a good fit Date: January 27, 2009
These didn't fit my daughter, who is very tall and slim. In a size long enough for her legs, they were way too long-waisted, to the point of being uncomfortable. At the same time, they were a little too tight in the ankles and wrists. I think they'd be fine if the fit were right.

Durable, Green Product and Delightful Patterns Date: January 25, 2009
I have purchased these pajamas for my son and daughter for several years. The fabric feels great and better than competitor offerings. We try to buy untreated cotton as often as possible. The material is very soft and long lasting, wash after wash. We love the patterns as they appeal to the interests of the children. The arms were tight in the first ones, but seem to be better now.

Love the prints! Tad tight in the arms. Date: January 24, 2009
My daughter loves the prints and so do I. My daughter is quite thin, so the bottoms really fit her well. The tops are a tad tight in the arms, despite the fact that (weight-wise) she is in the lower 7% of children her age (quite thin for her age). But, she doesn't seem to mind the tight arms, so I guess it doesn't matter to her. I do realize that Garnet Hill makes these tighter fitting due to fire regulations. I can appreciate this. I am wondering, though, if these could be made a tad less tight, though. I imagine that larger kids (or even normal sized kids) might have a real problem getting their arms in! Other than that, I love them!
