Eileen Fisher Viscose Jersey Bateau-Neck Dress - Regular

We're attracted to a great sleeveless, seasonless silhouette in ever-chic black, to wear solo now and under a cardigan or jacket as the temperature dips. The fabrication is a favorite too — a polished jersey that skims the body with grace. Balletic boatneck. Below-knee length. Viscose/Lycra®. By Eileen Fisher. USA.

Love!

Bought this a while back and am anxiously awaiting the snow melt. I love this dress. The material is exquisite and the fit is perfect. It may be thin for winter but will be a perfect black dress for 3 seasons.

Extremely lightweight
Date:September 12, 2014
This is unfortunately going back. Eileen Fisher clothing is always well-constructed and the fit good, but I just don't understand how one would wear this piece in the real world. I can't imagine wearing it alone, unless with a slip, which would just be weird with something the lightweight and knit, and layered over leggings, still would show every lump and bump and elastic waist and seam. I love the shape and the boatneck and the length. If only there were a little more there there.

You are correct this dress is lightweight. We say in copy "to wear solo now and under a cardigan or jacket as the temperature dips".
