A pretty and pretty-dramatic funnel-neck collar gives this jacket great style karma from studio to street. A bit of ruching at the top and princess seams down the sides finish the feminine silhouette. Drawstring hood. Side-seam pockets. Extra-long sleeves with thumbholes. Below-hip length with a dipped back hem for a little more coverage. Heavyweight nylon/spandex jersey with wicking finish, brushed inside for softness. Imported.

The jacket more than meets my expectations! I love the high quality fabric and fit. It is comfortable, and stylish. I love the sleeves with the half glove design. The length of the jacket provides perfect coverage.
I am so surprised there are not more reviews on this, or that we even kept it in stock long enough to go on sale. I think it was a good value at full price, but at a sale price you should not pass it up.
As soon as I saw my friend in it at the beginning of the season I had to have it. It wasn't just me: everyone was going up to her and saying "is this ours?" "is this new?" and touching it. I don't do yoga, but love the comfort and versatility of the zinni line.
The "spearmint" color is gorgeous, like a greenish aqua color. The lining is soft as can be like a stuffed animal and the outside isn't fuzzy but very soft too. The jacket is tailored without being tight and a good not-to-short not-to-long length. It dips just enough in rear to keep things discreet when I crouch down in my jeans, etc. but doesn't make it look weird or asymetrical. Its too cute. Love. Love. Love it.
Being long overdue for a proper yoga jacket. I searched online and in stores for a good jacket and finally decided on the Karma as having the best combination of features and color (the spearmint gives my complexion a glow).
I was surprised to find it even more functional and flattering when it arrived. For example, it sports a sturdy double zipper, so I can half zip it up from the bottom during yoga class, keeping the top zipped, a handy feature for the sitting poses. The extra coverage at the back dips gracefully and is just what I wanted in yoga class and for non-yoga activities after class.
I was not sure what to expect from the funnel neck, but when I zipped it up, I saw that it created a flattering neck line that was not as constrictive as a hoodie (where the zipper can ride up and even bite into your neck when it is zipped up, esp. during movement). The zipper goes all the way to the top of the funnel neck, so if you wanted to wear this in the rain, for example, you could zip it all the way up and tighten the drawstring around the hood.
I think the funnel neck is a great design innovation over the traditional hooded jacket. Until I found this jacket, my only alternative was to size up and wear a baggy hoodie to avoid the zipper at the neck problem. Who needs a zipper biting into their neck during yoga?
The total effect of this jacket is sleek and non-sloppy. I now use this jacket for all my exercise classes. I've also received many compliments on this comfortable jacket.
There is no logo or company name spelled out across the front or back of this jacket, which is a plus for me (I think logos are distracting and constitute free advertising for the company). The only logo on the GH zinni yoga line is a very small tag on the side, virtually invisible unless you were looking for it, depicting a stylized zinnia. Good for GH for not trying to brand us during our yoga class!
I have had no problems washing this well-made jacket in the six weeks or so that I've had it. It is also true to size, so I did not need to order up a size to accommodate layering underneath.
Another really excellent design, and especially thoughtful for yoga. Thank you, GH!
