A must-have asymmetrical layer in sheer linen to freshen up all your camisoles and dresses, in a sophisticated new shade of coral (or classic pebble or graphite). Rounded V-neck. Long sleeves. Contrasting ribbed trim at hip-length hem, which falls slightly longer on the left. Linen/cotton/nylon/rayon. By Eileen Fisher. Imported.
When I wear this sweater, I receive endless compliments from friends and strangers. The angled cut of the sweater is fun, and the color and knit are lovely. It is easily snagged, however, which is a bit of a challenge. I think I will need to invest in some crochet hooks as I envision constantly fixing the threads. I bought a rose tank from GH to wear under it on mild days, and a light pink long sleeve fitted tee to wear under it on colder days, which has worked out well. This will be a three season top in our mild climate, and dresses up any outfit.
I did a revamp of my attire this year- finally- and was very thrilled with this addition. It will be used for several years down the line. Just love the way it drapes my body and the color goes with just about every color/type of clothing.
I'd been eyeing this sweater for months but just couldn't bear to pay full price even though I loved the look of it. When it finally went on sale I bought it, and it is worth every penny. It is well constructed, extremely flattering, and something I will wear for years since the quality is so good. Even better, EF carries petite sized so the proportions were perfect for me.
A splurge for me, even on sale (that's why only 4 stars). And I've worn it twice and snagged it both times. But both times I also got compliments, which doesn't usually happen. The color is pretty and flattering (I'm blonde, fair, green eyes), although its more dusty rose than coral. But it's a color that will work year round in California. One complaint --it smells terrible even after wearing. I hope the smell goes away when I wash it.
I tried this on in store. Didn't seem like much on line but it is very special on. It drapes but is also body skimming. I think it will be a go to sweater over many EF dresses, camis etc. I fluctuate between a medium and large for tops but chose the medium. The large was unflatteringly big. While trying it on five other shoppers noticed and purchased it. Its a winner.
