Shaped like a picnic basket, everyone's favorite carryall has a lightweight aluminum frame, a rubber handle and durable poly fabric sides with Velcro® fasteners. Black cover can be monogrammed. Imported.
Collapsible Basket Cover Put a lid on it! An ingenious topper designed especially for the popular Collapsible Basket. This easy-to-use canvas cover fits over the sides of the basket and secures with elastic Velcro straps to protect contents. Available in Black. Imported.
Monogramming is available on cover only. Approx. 2 1/2" letters placed about 3 1/4" from the folded edge on the side with the straps. To monogram a name with more than one capital letter, such as McMillan, please contact Customer Service at 800.870.3513. Monogramming is only available on orders shipping within the U.S.

I've given these as gifts and were greatly appreciated. They're well made and the fabrics are so pretty. The only reason for the 4 stars is that I think they are a bit heavier than they need to be. For that reason they aren't as useful for older people.

I ordered this item to fill up with smaller gifts for a "Bridal Shower!" Everyone after the bridal shower asked where I got it from! I thought it was very well crafted and very sturdy!

I love these baskets! I have four and have given lots as gifts, including four this past Christmas. To a person, everyone LOVES them, and for different reasons. Mine stay stowed in the cars, ready to use when I'm picking up a few things at the grocery store, pharmacy, farmer's market... you name it.

Great Basket for my Crafts!

I have looked at these in the catalog for a couple of years and thought how useful they might be. Even ordered one for a gift last year. This year I bought one for myself and really love it! I usually have more than one knitting project going on a time and stuff spread out everywhere. This holds it all and makes it easy to transport. Very cute and well made too.

I purchased this for my mother-in-law for her birthday. She likes to knit and quilt, and she said this is the best basket for holding these items because they dont get squashed or tangled because the outside of the basket is structurally sound. Its high-quality, cute, and a good size. I think this may be the gift Ive purchased for her that she likes the most. (could I for once be in my mother-in-law's good graces?)

After receiving one as a gift I bought a 2nd - one to keep in my car to hold all the miscellaneous "stuff" that accumulates and one to use to transport food, clothes to the dry cleaners, etc. Versatile, sturdy and cute! I don't really consider it "collapsable" because once it's set up with the plastic stays I've never removed them. I like it so much have given 8 as gifts!

A little disappointed...

I bought the gray polka dot basket/shopper. The dots are actually a beige-y cream color. Not white. I wouldn't have ordered it if I had known they were not white. My own fault for not asking specifically, but I didn't think of it - I just went from the picture shown. It's too bad there aren't more color/pattern options available via Garnet Hill. The company that makes these, Reisenthel, offers a wide variety of colors/patterns. The reason I ordered from Garnet Hill was the customer service and the monogramming option for the cover. I bought a cover with silver stitching on on the monogram, so I'm stuck with the gray basket/shopper. The basket is of high quality (I own other Reisenthel products). It's pricey, but it will last a long time.

I take my basket shopping, I take it to the pool (inside pocket is perfect for money and keys), I use it to clean out my car and when at home it stays at the bottom of my stairs to collect toys that need to go upstairs. It seems there is nothing this basket can't do. Great for transporting food to events. This is where the cover is most useful to keep everything safe. The handle is cushy and slip resistant unlike some cheaper versions I've seen. The cover is washable and I wish they sold these baskets by the dozen.

These baskets are wonderful. Cute and VERY sturdy!! Easy to put together and store. I am getting several more as gifts and to keep in the car/house. While they are a bit pricey, they are of a much better quality than other baskets of this type that are out, so they do warrant a higher price.
