Shaped like a classic picnic basket, this traditional carryall has been updated with a lightweight aluminum frame and rubber-cushioned handle. Made of durable polyester fabric, the basket is held to the frame with Velcro closures. When the side stabilizers are removed, it folds flat for storing or packing. Will hold up to 55 lbs.

I love, love, love this basket. I keep it in my car to carry things into work, light grocery shopping(no plastic bags!!!), farmers market, library, etc. etc. Its very strong and comfortable to carry. I'm constantly getting compliments on my cute basket. I have the black polka dot one and smile every time I don't use a plastic bag!

GREAT BASKET
Date: January 23, 2010
I have never stowed it away, it's too useful... I have one to sort the clutter in my kitchen (often telling family "Check the basket!" when they can't find something!) but would like another one that can actually leave the house! Love the new print... may have to get that one! The cover is pretty useless to me so far, but maybe someday I will be glad I have it.
I bought this basket for my mom in the flora pattern for Christmas, and she absolutely LOVES it. She and my dad love to road trip, and she uses this to tote all the miscellaneous things that she doesn't want to stow in her suitcase. She says that it wipes down nicely, and it's the perfect size for odds and ends. She also says that when folded, it's really flat so it stows out of the way easily. The flora pattern is vivid and beautiful.

Collapsible Basket and Cover
Date: November 27, 2009
This basket is the best. Every time I go to the market someone comments on how cute it is. Not only is it cute but so handy. It cleans up well and is easy to store in that it collapses. I would highly recommend this purchase at this price.
I have used this basket for a variety of purposes, carrying vegetables in from the garden, bringing baked goods to family gatherings, etc. It has held up extremely well. Just today decided to use my newest one (black with polka dots and black cover) to hold Halloween candy that will be given out to children visiting the nursing home I work at. Can't tell you how many compliments I received from my co-workers on how cute the basket was as well as the many uses they would have for such a basket. They all loved it and you will too!

Great for storage
Date: July 23, 2009
I bought a red collapsible basket, no cover, to store Thomas the Tank Engine trains and I love it. It holds a lot of trains and track, looks snazzy on a shelf in the closet and is easy to throw the trains in when the kids are done playing. I'm sure it will have many other uses after trains leave our life.
My mother gave me one of these for christmas and I absolutely LOVE it! I do not have the lid, but do not need it! I carry everything in this, picnic, grocery, returns, dinners for friends, etc...VERY sturdy and holds a lot! Handle makes it so easy to carry. I get compliments on it everywhere I take it!

Collapsible Basket: Simply indispensable!!
Date: July 22, 2009
This basket does it all. Lightweight, colorful, sturdy, practical. I have two of them and use them all the time: running errands, transporting food to social gatherings (every single person in my book club now has one!), gathering odds and ends around the house, etc.
I gave one as a baby shower gift (filled with baby books and goodies--it was a nice departure from the usual shower gifts that get outgrown), and even gave one to my 98-year-old grandmother recently for her to store her sewing/knitting supplies.
Do NOT buy the cheap imitations of this basket--this one is top quality and worth every penny. I never even fold this down for storage since it is always in use. A GREAT purchase!!
I keep this in my car and use it to transport all the little bits that seem to clutter the backseat on a regular basis--reusable grocery bags, mail, small purchases, paper trash, etc. Can't live without this little gem!

Excellent product!
Date: July 22, 2009
I purchased one of these for my sister for Christmas a couple of years ago. She is one of those people that has "everything"---she raved about the basket (I got her baroque sand) so I finally decided I had to have one. I have three small children and got tired of digging around huge tote bags trying to find toys, diapers, wipes, etc. and thought this basket would be good solution. I LOVE IT! I keep it in the van stocked with diapers, wipes and non-pershible snacks, grab it and go when we are out. I also bought the cover as it looks neater. If I was using this to carry fresh produce and baguettes, I would skip the cover, I like how hides my not-so glamourous items inside : )

Versatile storage & carrier

Really love the way this basket folds down when not being used. I have the cover as well, and it makes a handy carrier for farmer's market, or storing my latest knitting project. The cover keeps away the curious dog!

I recently got married and used these totes as bridesmaids gifts. I filled each one with stuff that each girl would like. They all loved them and use them weekly.

Carryall Carries All!
Date: July 22, 2009
This is the best basket I have ever owned! It's light yet feels solid, and has a rubber handle that is comfortable to carry. From farmer's market, to potluck supper, to outings with a baby, this basket holds it all. Spills wipe right up so it always looks brand-new. And it looks stylish to boot. I'd never be without one again. Thanks, Garnet Hill!

Doesn't match black lid
Date: June 21, 2009
I purchased this item as a birthday gift for a friend. I was disappointed to find the color in person was not the same as pictured online. I will exchange it for another pattern to match the black lid that I had monogrammed. I was pleased with how quickly I received the item.

SAVES your shoulders and holds everything!
Date: May 7, 2009
I love this basket and literally take it everywhere. I use it daily at work to carry my lunch, purse, and even an extra set of shoes. Then, I bring it to the grocery store to pick up a few things and fold it flat when I don't need it. The best part... its comfortable and saves my shoulders from a heavy tote bag. Now there are at least four of us in the department with them. We've started a trend!
I purchased one of the collapsible baskets in the dark floral (you can see it in the second thumbnail, but I'm not sure you can still order it in that color). Pleasantly surprised that it has an deep inner zip pocket to stow keys when I take it to the grocery store.
Bought a cover to match, and would recommend it so the exposed aluminum sides do not get scratched during shopping trips, etc. I just don't like that the cover says 'carrybag' on it, but that's no big deal. Collapsing the basket seems like a real pain, so it will just stay open.
Very functional: I have used it on plenty of car trips to pack snacks/lunch or activities. My family always knows they're in for something yummy or special when they see the basket go into the vehicle --even my husband now asks if I've packed it and will carry it. Will probably order another in a different pattern soon.

Can't get enough of these!
Date: February 3, 2009
A basket keeps its contents more stable than a bag does, where they are likely to get smooshed together. These baskets have the best cushioning, best materials, and best patterns--don't be fooled by copycat brands. I bought lids with mine, too--they're easy to lift, look trim and keep the contents private. I filled a polkadot basket with baby gifts, added the personalized lid (what a hit it was!) and am planning to do up another, but with a kitchen theme.
I have purchased these in multiple for my daughter. Every gift occasion I use these as the "container" for her gift(s). She uses them for everything...in her car, at the bottom of the stairs to carry up items, in the pantry, in her bathroom, closet, the children's rooms, for trips and for outdoor dining. They are strong, so attractive and would be very easy to store if they were ever empty!!!!!

Another gift for my sister-in-law but her daughters commandeered it! It is a great size, strong and very functional.
