Great Sweater.

After reading the reviews, I was worried about the sizing. I decided to take a chance, and am glad I did. The L size is rather tight than expected. But I like it, it's a funky style that will work good for me. Wish they still had the other colors available! I'd buy more for the price I paid. Beautiful sweater in cream.

I didn't get this on sale, hence my assessment of the value. The fabric is incredibly soft and the color (off-white) is lovely. But the sleeves come past my fingers, and they aren't designed to be turned up, as other GH cashmere sweaters are. I tend toward petite, but I bought the size I normally buy here (small). It's also true that the shape is not exactly flattering. The ruffles are in the wrong place. But the fabric is so nice I would have kept it anyway if it weren't for the sleeve problem.

This sweater is stylish. I was hoping it would be a good fit for me but alas I am petite and the lines were all wrong. However I bought 2 for my daughters. They look great and they love them.

At first I thought this sweater was going to be too boxy but it fit perfectly. The ruffles are perfect with the texture- not too delicate.

Amazing Price, Cute Sweater

I put off buying this sweater for months, mostly because I live in Hawaii, so have no real need for wool sweaters. However, this has been a cool winter for us, so I was more open to buying it. And then came the additional 30% sale. I could not miss that!
Because I am slender, the ruffles add something to my figure, which may not be the case with larger and bustier women. I think the sweater is adorable otherwise: especially buttoned up. It looks a bit strange unbuttoned. My only complaint is that it is a bit rough-feeling, but I usually wear very soft fabrics these days, so I have grown unaccustomed to wool with no other fibers, etc. At the low price I bought it for, I would recommend it to women who are not too busty or large. A darling look.

It is so soft and stylish. I am an 8/10 so I went with the 10/12 size and its very comfortable. Only issue is dry clean.

Odd, and not in a good way

This sweater looked cute and boho-quirky on the model - On me? Not so much.
I kept trying it on again and again, hoping for a better result, but it looked like something I made in crafts class. The offset ruffles gave the impression that it was buttoned crooked and de-svelted my 5'5" 112 lb. frame. (Okay, it made me look fat - Never what I'm going for.)
Additionally, the ruffles refused to lie flat. I looked like a hot mess in this sweater. I contemplated keeping it only because I'm so used to loving everything I buy from GH, but finally sent it back with the realization that it was not going transform into a butterfly.

I liked the idea of this sweater but didn't like the reality. The ruffles were too voluminous for my taste, especially around the waistline, which wasn't very flattering on my body. Ordering a size down might have helped but I think it still would have been too much. I ended up sending it back. :(

The sweater is lovely in any color, but it does not mask a round middle--it adds to it. Leave this for the gals who have no tummy hang-ups.

Every time I wear this, I'm asked where I purchased this. I'm not a ruffle person, but this is pretty without being over the top. The asymmetry doesn't bother me, either. It's warm and goes with everything!

This is such a nice sweater. The quality is lovely and the fit and fabric are perfect for cold winter days. It's just the perfect weight. And the ruffles just snaz up any dull winter day.

This cardigan is fairly unique in utilizing the ruffle trend and made of a quality, soft-wool blend, which isn't scratchy. Would look and feel best with some sort of layering piece underneath. Material pill-ing might become an issue after several wearings, but I haven't experienced it yet, having just got the sweater a couple of weeks ago. Sizing is appropriate for layering. I am 5'4", 34B, ordered an XS and was happy with the length and semi-fitted closeness of the fit. Definitely goes with trousers, jeans or skirts. Recommended, especially at the sale price!

Nice sweater. runs large so, order down a size. It is wool so plan on wearing it over long sleeves. looks best with fitted bottom. Mid weight-nice for layering on mild days. glad I got it on sale. good addition to wardrobe.

The pretty cream color works with everything. Great quality soft wool and good construction. Fits slightly large, but XS works fine for my size (0-2). Ruffles are fun and don't overwhelm me.

Bought this sweater on sale and so glad I did. Great value for the sale price. It is a warm cozy sweater, but not bulky. I got the oatmeal color and love it- wear it with jeans and with dress pants to work!

I bought this in cranberry and gray. I don't wear a lot of ruffles, just simple, straight lines, and this cardigan adds perfect interest. With skinny jeans or a skirt and boots or ballet slippers, this looks great without being too cutesy - thanks to the asymmetrical ruffles.

Purchased this in the grey in size small as I prefer my sweaters loose & baggy. Baggy look doesn't belong with ruffles. Needed to size down for my 5'2" athletic frame as the look I was trying to achieve made me look more like a cabbage patch doll than comfy & warm.
Cute look, though (if I'd have purchased in my true xs size).
Great with jeans, a knit pencil skirt or maxi skirt.
