Bought this coat on sale and it is lovely. Normally I wear a medium but large was the only size left so I took a chance. It fits well. The mediun would have probably been tight.

I am not exaggerating when I say I get compliments every time I wear this, from women and men of all ages, teenagers to senior citizens.This coat is plush and so soft, it's amazing that it is also machine washable. I was afraid it might be too forward of a fashion statement, but it is very classy, a little retro, and easy to wear. It has a very flattering slim fit that works even on my hourglass figure. I am 5'6", 135-140 lbs and the medium fits great with light layers underneath. I got it on sale after looking at it for months in the catalog. Don't hesitate, buy it. You'll love it.

This coat arrived on time and is very soft and well made. I should have bought an XL because the L is a little snug and I am not sure whether that is due to the coat running small or me running big! Overall, a great value and a lovely coat.

I did change the buttons but couldn't have had more fun with this jacket even before I did. Many women asked me where I got it and for how much and were happy to hear the low price. Medium fits me snugly at 5'8", 140lb. I wear a quilted down vest under for extra warmth. Puts me in a good mood to head out the door faux furred for holiday parties.

I wanted this coat last year, but it was sold out in my size before I ordered it: I didn't make that mistake this year. This is just a fun coat; I always receive comments when I wear it. What I love about it is that it can be worn with jeans or with evening outfits. Plus, it is just so soft that you want to cuddle up in it! I am tall so I love the big collar.

This coat is adorable! Love the length, color, fit and style. I have been searching for a faux fur animal print coat and have tried on many. But love this one the most. It is very versatile I can use it to "make" an outfit or as an over coat. Many of the faux fur coats require you to wear as a jacket all day because they are the outfit. With the longer length it will look great over jeans, a dress, or slacks. Fit is great. I took a medium and I am 5'10" 135#. I possibly could have worn a small but feared the sleeves would be too short and too tight through the shoulders if I wore a sweater underneath.

Good Coat

I waited a couple of months for this coat to go on sale. I'm glad I did. It's a great coat for mild Southern winters, a good cut, very fun and goes with most any out fit. The only draw back is the quaity of the stitching. I've had two buttons fall off and a couple of threads are hanging from seams and I've only had it a month. If I had paid full price, I would be upset, but with a sale and coupon combo, it is worth every penny.

I was unsure how I would like this coat or if I had ordered the right size, but I ordered it anyway and I am very pleased. I am about 5'5, 135lbs, a size 4 usually, 32D chest and the Small fits me perfect. Any bigger or smaller and it wouldn't be right. It is hard to understand how very soft it is until you feel it in person. It has a nice, floppy drape and a vintage-ey, glamorous look to it. The colors are very nice and it doesn't look cheap at all, but I do feel like this coat is a little overpriced. It is not lined and is not very warm, so would not be suitable for very cold weather in my opinion. Yes, the collar is large, but I think that's part of the look of the coat, it seems to go well with the vintage glamour look of it. If the collar was small I think it might change the whole look of it. I think it matches the style of the coat but if you are one to obsess over large collars you might feel uncomfortable in it. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase! I've already received several compliments on it.

I found this coat here last year, but they didn't have my size so I ended up ordering the exact same coat (same maker etc.) from another site. I adore this coat. The softness of the faux fur is unparalleled in any other faux fur I've found. My daughter who is 6 is counting down the days to when she is old enough for this to be hers. I highly recommend it!!

I get so many compliments when I wear this coat. I love the feel of the faux fur. I find my friends tend to snuggle up to me when I wear it. The coat is very glamourous. I recommend this for early fall winters. The coat is not very warm so it will not work when the temperature drops too low. I have worn my hair up and down and do not feel the collar is too large. The collar has metal stay rods which allow you to style it and have it stay in position. This can give it a even more stylish look

It is a good looking coat, but it is tight around my breast and shoulders are too tight wearing a sweater, which I have to wear because the coat is too light to wear without it. I'm always cold. Unfortunately, I'll have to return it. I really liked the over sized collar. It makes the coat.

Vintage-Looking Coat

Saw this coat in the catalog and loved the look. When I received it I couldn't be happier. First, as is said in most reviews ... the softness is unbelievable. It has a real vintage look. The collar is NOT oversized, but very chic & warm. I am 5'6 and 135lbs. I ordered a size MEDIUM & it is perfect. I have rather long arms,but it fits well. The cost of the coat is also a bargain. I have already received compliments on the coat.

I loved this coat in the photo, but I am sadly returning it for two reasons. 1) The collar is so wide in real life, it looks downright clownish. My style is pretty flamboyant, but this coat is actually overstated to the point of being not-appropriate for work. 2) If you are a slim woman, the coat is not very fitted. I was hoping for a vintage look with a modern cut, but I felt like I was wearing a big old grandma coat.

The material of this coat is utterly fabulous -- super silky and with a really nice, floppy drape. Because of the drape and the cut of the coat, it doesn't add too much bulk, yet, as another reviewer noted, there's ample room inside to wear thick winter clothing underneath. The pattern is beautiful too. Sometimes leopard pattern is an ugly yellow-ish color, but this is a really pretty tawny color. I also love the large portrait collar with its funky vintage look, but I think you probably need to be fairly tall so that it doesn't overwhelm (I'm 5'7"). I wore it all winter and got tons of compliments.

I thought long and hard about the Faux-Fur Coat, which i fell in love with the FIRST time I saw it in the catalog. I ear marked it and mentioned it to my Mother In Law who never knows what to get me for my birthday. she gave me the money for it, but i wasn't sure I wanted to spend the money on it. Then 3 months later I saw it for the 3rd time in the Garnet Hill catalog. I told my friend about my dilemna and showed her the picture. She said, "Give me the money and I will buy it!" That convinced me, so I ordered it and after receiving it, I was REALLY bummed that I missed wearing it for 3 months of my life! This coat is SWEET! so soft, so light, so GORGEOUS--I feel beautiful in it. People WANT this coat when you are wearing it! Don't delay your enjoyment; it is worth it! buy now!
