I really loved these boots but they just did not fit well. I ordered my regular size but the heel slipped. I could have worked around that but the ankle area of the boot is just huge. More so than I would have expected even for a pull on boot. When I started looking a bit harder at the pictures of Frye boots online, it does appear this particular boot is roomier in the ankle area. It just seems to be cut wider in that area than other Frye pull on boots. I did not like the chunky ankle look but it might work for others. It is probably just a style to get used to. So, very sadly, I am sending them back. The leather and workmanship was excellent, like any Frye product.
