My husband calls this my "sexy skirt"

Beautiful soft fabric and exceptional shaping through the hips makes this my favorite skirt. The fit is comfortable and very slimming with just enough swing at the hem to keep it fun without looking poofy. It's not tight through the hips, but the fabric is pretty thin, so beware of panylines. I do think it runs a bit big, though. On the GH size chart, I am a 6, but the small fits me perfectly. As for the colors, the black is very nice, but more of a casual black and not as dark as the black knit shirt that I wanted to pair it with; I wish it was darker. The gray is kind of a blueish gray that somehow didn't look right with anything I own; I had to send that one back. And as others mentioned, this skirt looks dreadful straight out of the package - be sure to wash or iron it before you make an opinion.

A favorite business-casual skirt

I don't work in a "suit office," so something like this is very useful to me. I've seen many similar skirts, but clearly the makers of this skirt put a great deal of thought into engineering the gores and getting the fabric to swirl just so. I wear mine virtually every week.
Usually I'm between Medium and Large, so I got Large and tumble-dried it the first time (I like to line-dry clothes in summer). Fits like a dream.

Pros: This skirt is easy -- easy to pair with a variety of tops, easy to wear despite minor weight fluctuations, and easy to dress up or down. The skirt is also really comfortable.
I primarily bought this skirt because I liked the color -- gray. It is a great summer color and is something a little different -- I have about a dozen black knit skirts.
Cons: I think this skirt is a bit too long for me. I'm petite and if I don't adjust where the skirt sits, it looks a bit frumpy.
Note: When this skirt first arrived, I tried it on and wasn't impressed. I decided to return it. I kept forgetting to return it and decided to try it on one last time before finally shipping it back. I'm glad I did -- I changed my mind! The skirt was folded quite small before it was shipped, and I think the beauty of the skirt is the how the fabric flows. Hang it up or iron before trying it on. It makes a huge difference.

Comfy, Comfy Skirt

This has become one of my very favorite pieces of my summer wardrobe. This skirt goes well with everything from tee's to sweater sets. Dress it up or down. I have had a lot of complements! The fabric is wonderfully soft.

Don't let the price change your mind

I hesitated when I saw the price of this skirt. After reading the reviews I bought it in taupe. I was a little worried at how wrinkled it looked when I removed it from the packaging but once I ironed it and tried it on I absolutely loved it. The fabric is so light and airy, the waist is very comfortable and not binding. The skirt flows with your every movement and makes you feel very elegant. This is a skirt I won't hesistate to wear as much as possible, I can easily wear it at church and at work!

Really nice for good weather

Even if you are full in the middle this bias cut thin knit conforms to your curves without getting too big on the bottom of the skirt which looks awfully matronly. I didn't affort the tops but I was pretty sure the skirts were winners from the description... and they are. The material and the hem are contemporary without being totally a "young woman" thing only, although young women would, I'm sure, look quite fabulous in it.

Beautiful skirt and outfit

This skirt is truly gorgeous! It lays beautifully, with lots of graceful folds. The taupe has sort of a lilac overtone which is lovely with blues. I purchased the entire outfit pictured in the catalogue--skirt, tank, and cardigan. It looks stunning, even on a size 10 like me!
I ordered this skirt to go with a lightweight spring cami and coverup that is shades of gray with purple and fuschia. This skirt was just the right shade of gray and lightweight and airy enough to compliment my tops.
