Bertie Stripe Indoor-Outdoor Rug by Dash and Albert
Completely reversible, this handwoven rug collection decks out the floor with jaunty patterns resembling nautical sails, cabana awnings or designer wallpaper. Rendered in soft, resilient polypropylene that is water and fade resistant, it's ideal for high-traffic areas and protected outdoor spaces. To clean, just hose down using mild soap. Imported.

I purchased the runner which gets a lot of traffic in the kitchen. So far it's holding up beautifully. It is lightweight compared to other rugs I've used. My only issue is that it is easy to kick up the corners. Otherwise, I'm very happy with it.

Love this rug - it's worth every penny. Bright, cheerful, hard-wearing - it is doing a fine job as my kitchen rug. I haven't given it a try yet to try to hose off any dirtiness, as it is still fairly new - but I love it and I am very glad I purchased it.

I was nervous about purchasing this rug because of the materials in it. I was afraid it would be too plastic. It was not! The colors are good, just like the picture and I have now purchased another.

We love this rug. We are using in our bathroom, it not only looks lovely, it has pleasing feel on our barefeet. It holds up well with wet feet no color runs.
We use a little white mat when stepping out of the shower to get some of the excess water off. Think i will have it steam cleaned not throw into washer, we bought the 3'X5". Looking forward to a long life as its all cotton and well made.

Great entryway rugs

We bought two of these for our entryway and are very happy with them. They're soft and well made. The colors are bright, but not *too* bright (they don't draw too much attention), and it's great that they'll be so easy to clean when, inevitably, they get dirty. I only wish Garnet Hill's shipping wasn't so expensive! It's the one drawback to ordering from this company. But we're happy with the rugs and were happy with the service -- they were backordered, and shipped sooner than anticipated.

Kitchen Sink ... Not exactly as hoped

First, the quality seems very high. That said my initial reaction was to be disappointed by a few things. The coloring is not what I expected ... Thought it would read more navy but the predominant colors to my eye are the brown and pink stripes. Had also hoped the stripes would run horizontal (width), but they are lengthwise which wasn't possible to tell from the photos. Also wish it was a little less prone to skidding but can remedy with a rug pad. Will keep it as I like it better than the vinyl tile underneath but wish I had been wowed.

Mudroom Rug Extraordinaire

I purchased a large "Kitchen Stripes" version of this rug for our mudroom, and it is fabulous! The rug has a quality look and is super practical too. Our Labs have found their way to it with upset tummies, and my husband spilled a salad with oily dressing on it. We simply take the rug outside and hose it off. Mess and stains gone, and it looks like new. Dries quickly too. No more rug laundering or professional cleaning after those little mudroom "accidents." I am thrilled with this rug!

My "KitchenSink" D&A indoor/ourdoor rugs are wonderful! The colors are clear and will match anything and the stripes are not too loud. I have them in my entry/kitchen/dining all-in-one room and they are getting lots of rough use from my dog, two cats, husband and yes, me too, I'm a full time gardener. They look great on my pine floors. Best purchase I ever made.

I bought this rug for my entrance and love it. It is light enough to take outside and shake off the loose dirt and I like the idea of being able to hose it off when it gets really dirty. I love practical and pretty all in the same package!

I bought 2 of these. The smallest size and one of the larger sizes. The small size was/is inferior in quality and I sent it back. The navy stripe was not as pictured, and was not a solid stripe - showing white woven threads all the way through. It was also a bit small for the location - but that's nothing to do with the rug itself.
The larger size is really great, though. I am using it as a summer rug for the front hallway. Just be warned that the "white" is very white - not an ivory as it looks in the photos online.
