No bedding I've gotten anywhere can compare to garnet hill... The sheets etc have the same comfortable soft feeling even after washing it numerous times... The colors are always beautiful... Money well spent.

I just received this quilt in the fern/linen color. It is a striking Key lime, just perfect with other yellow-greens and green-blues. The stitching is done in tiny circles, a very delicate pattern over lightweight backing. I was looking for a light spring/summer quilt and this will be just right to replace a winter comforter. In addition, it was a fabulous buy. Now, if only it were spring!

Beachy bedding Date: December 24, 2008
The detailed stitching on the Sanibel quilt gives it a nice pebbled texture and tailored look. To continue with the beach theme, I paired it with the Sand Dollar shams (also by Hable Construction). The quilt itself is very thin; it's perfect decorative bedding for those who live in warmer climates or just use it for a vacation home. There are 2 reasons I didn't give it the full 5 stars. One, I had hoped it would be slightly more padded so that it could be used year-round. And two, the photos of the Slate/Earth bedding (both online and in the catalog) did not accurately represent the color on the underside. Earth actually looks more like chocolate milk; in the photos, it appears to be more of a linen/taupe shade.
