I ordered a size down after reading the reviews & the skirt works perfectly! It's not too full at all and is very soft & flattering on. The fabric is a lightweight cotton & it lies down nicely. I'm 5'11" and it hits me just above the knee, as shown on the model. I have the dove gray & it is a lovely color, just as pictured. Great purchase...perfect for travel or a day out.
I love this skirt! It is SUPER comfortable, fits well & is fun & "flouncy"! You can dress it up or down. I'd recommend it highly.

Not a flattering fit

I wanted to love this skirt because it looks so cute in the photo and the fabric is lovely, but the cut is very unflattering. It's a simple gathered waist skirt with absolutely no shaping through the hips. That, plus the double layer of fabric makes it stick straight out from the waist and made me look twice as big through the hips and quite matronly.

Beautiful fabric

I love the fabric and feel of this skirt. Soft and lays well. Wish they had a tall length for me, but I'll keep it anyway and show off some leg.
This skirt made me look twice as big as I am through the hips. It is cut very, very full, and gathered a lot at the waist, so I felt like there was a lot more fabric than I needed. However, the fabric was nice and soft, and the two layers are a nice idea.

This is a great skirt! The cotton is soft and thick, so it's comfortable, but not clingy or see-through. The shape and fit are flattering. I know I'll be wearing this a lot through the summer.

This is quickly becoming my favorite skirt. It is a perfect fit- I'm not that tall and it can be a problem. It's light and fun even for an old girl!
Casual, but very cute, and the layering really does give it a slightly more modern look. I'm rather petite at 5'2", but the length is still fine as long as I don't let it sit too low, and the drawstring makes that easy.

Sweet little weekend skirt

If you're not a shorts person but still want something cool and comfortable to wear in warm weather, this will do for casual afternoons or evenings. It does run a little big. You won't mind -- it's very soft, and while it's lightweight, it's substantial enough to eliminate any concerns about see-through silhouettes.
