Fun for giver AND recipient!

This was the most fun gift I've given in quite a while! I called to get my niece's color preferences and then spent a wonderful couple of hours shopping for glitter, stickers, paint, feathers. ribbon...you name it. My niece loved it! It was fun to watch her eyes get bigger and bigger as she unpacked all the decorating stuff. Her mom said she could hardly wait to get home and she has had a great time with it. The only thing that doesn't quite work is that the storage box is the mailing box, so it came pretty beat up. The house was fine, though. All in all, a very satisfactory purchase.
We bought this as a Christmas present for our 3 year old and were pleasantly surprised with how well our children play together with this prop. It bridges their age difference (3.5 yrs) like no other toy we have. Together, they have scripted fantastic stories in the little playhouse. They especially love the mail slot and look-out at the top. (To think, we still have the added bonus of painting to look forward to!) A winner.

It was easy to assemble. I would recommend painting it right away, because once the kids see it, you wont get a chance. Daughter loves it and has set up home inside it.
