When the tights came I was excited. They were a gift that I had asked for due to the high praise for them at Garnethill. In the past I have chosen all cotton or cotton with just a little lycra but this seemed like a good compromise for fit and quality.
So, as I was trying my tights on I noticed a funny odor. I looked around my dressing room. Hmmm, I thought, the only thing different in here are these tights. I held them to my nose and oh my god, I thought. I suppose if you are wearing perfume or something like that you might not notice. But these tights really smell odd. So I have decided to wash them before wearing and would recommend everyone do the same. It is just too much to ignore. It was overwhelming. And about the fit, , the small is still quite large and long. Maybe they will shrink some.

Trust Garnet Hill to offer a quality product like this: possibly the most comfortable tights ever made. The fabric is creamy and soft and the look is unsurpassed. I'd buy them again next year except they don't seem to wear out!

I purchased the black pair and wear them with a black wool knit dress. They keep their shape, don't snag easily and are very comfortable..
