I looked at these sheet s for more than a year wondering whether I would ever spend this on sheets. I broke down and took the plunge 4 months ago. I didn't review them right away because I wanted to see how I felt about them over time. They are even better today than the day I received them They are extraordinarily comfortable. I can't believe I waited so long. Despite other reviews, the sheets fit my bed perfectly.

This is a lovely addition to my collection of bed linens. I like to mix it up on the bed, not all match-y sets and this works beautifully as an element.

Beautiful, soft sheets

I bought both the Fawn and the Fawn Stripe sheets and cases to use together, for a coordinated but not monochromatic look. They look great, they feel soft and get softer after washing. BUT - there was a difference between the fawn and the fawn stripe. The fawn was slightly softer (even in a blind groping test) and washed better: the raw edge fringe on the striped topsheet and cases unravelled/shed noticeably. Also, the striped topsheet shrank; I returned it and upsized from the double to the queen since I like a more generous sheet anyways. The striped sheets are really beautiful in person though, pretty enough that I don't really care too much about the shedding - which does become less. (Also FYI: I'm not using a home washer, it's a laundromat so it's a rigorous test.) And the sheets feel even better with every wash.

Good Qualities: Color, Construction, Temperature Comfort
Limited Quality: Lack of softness, a bit scratchy. I have laundered 3x, but hope they will become softer with use and further laundering.

Warm on cool nights, cool on warm nights, classy and beautiful. They have that casual, slightly wrinkled linen look. Soft, delivers a great night's sleep!! Worth the price.

We considered these sheets for several months before purchasing them because they are pricey. I searched all over the internet and no one else has anything like this. Since I love linen, I decided to spring for them. They are a heavier weight than I expected and I think that makes them more durable. They are extremely comfortable and soft. Of course, they do wrinkle and the edging on the top sheet and pillow cases needs to be ironed to look its best. Overall, I am really glad I spent the money and bought them. I think they will last a long time. Also, some reviews mentioned that the fitted sheet pockets were too deep. We have an average mattress and they fit fine.

I love linen. I'm in love with the look, the chic wrinkliness of it, the texture. On the bed, these sheets, pillow cases and duvet cover are absolutely elegant and inviting. What bothers me is that, even after washing with fabric softener, they resist becoming soft. Perhaps as they age, the desired magic will transpire, and the feel of old linen will prevail? Hoping so, because they really are quite lovely to behold.

This is my second set. Although expensive, quite different from regular cotton sheets, more breathable. However, a bit delicate and care should be taken when washing. It would be hard to go back to using cotton sheets after these.

I ordered the pillow cases only to start, as these linen products are pricey. I do love the sumptuous feeling, and for a "neat freak" am less bother by the rumpled look, than I thought I might be. I will order the sheets during a sale time since I love the quality, color, and texture. I am looking forward to them this summer in the heat of central Texas. If you are ready to splurge a little on the place most of us spend a third of our lives, in bed, these are a great way to make that time nurturing and special. Wash well, love the fringed edges!

Do I like these, no I LOVE them! That's why within two weeks of my first purchase I went ahead and bought a second set. Yes, they are pricey, but I'm guessing they will last a long time and they just feel so darn good to sleep in.

I love these sheets. I hang them outside when the weather is nice and they are so wonderful. Really great in the dryer as well. I love Eileen Fisher products. I have some of her sateen sheets so I do mix them with the linen sometimes. I have white, grey, muslin and earth colors. They all coordinate so well together. Thank you Eileen Fisher and Garnet Hill.

I ordered the pink washed linen top sheet. So far, really love. The look is beautiful, simple, clean, natural feel. The feel is soft, cozy. I have washed twice - comes out of the drier fairly wrinkle free with just the natural texture of the linen. I will buy more of these - very happy with the product.

I love the feel and wear of Eileen Fisher's linen bedding. I especially love the color...light pink ... it goes so well with beige and the muted colors in my favorite quilt! The cost is a little spendie, however, I feel that this bedding is worth it, even if you have to save up for it! I recommend this product highly.

I bought these sheets over the Summer after thinking about it for a long time. They're expensive and I don't usually indulge in luxuries like fancy sheets even though I really appreciate them. I finally decided that if they didn't seem nice enough I could just return them again.
Well, I needn't have worried. I LOVE these sheets! they made me really look forward to crawling into bed.
They're heavy and fluffy at the same time. I live in an area that gets really hot, but the sheets never made me uncomfortable. I haven't used them since the Fall, but I can definitely imagine them being comfortable in cold weather, too, because they're so snuggly.
When I ordered mine, the strawberry creme was out of stock and I didn't know they'd be getting the color in again, so I went with white. Now I'm going to spend the next few months thinking about buying the strawberry for our bed and moving the white to the guest room...

I bought these sheets summer last year, and based on the great reviews, I was expecting a truly luxurious feeling sheet. Unfortunately, they were not nearly as soft as I had expected, in fact the fabric was so scratchy that I couldn't use the pillow cases at all because of the way if felt against my skin. But I did love the way they looked so I covered my pillow in an alternate case and tried to use them, waiting for them to "break in". After several months and numerous washes (which did result in lots of fraying), they got no softer and I finally had to abandon them and buy new sheets! Very disappointed and will likely never try linen sheets again.
