Hands down the most luscious bedding I have ever owned. It is like sleeping in a silk satin cloud. Rest is assured as the silk seems to regulate the temperature to perfection. Of course, best used the European style - with no sheet in between you and this heavenly comforter.

I ordered the marble silk comforter and the color is simply stunning. The pictures online don't do this gorgeous shimmering greenish grey color justice. The comforter is very light, soft and warm and the hand tufting creates an elegant and visually interesting effect.

I bought this silk comforter in platinum and love everything about it. The charmeuse fabric has a rich feel and luxurious sheen. The weight is perfect layered with another throw or blanket for the winter and would be just right on its own in the summer. This comforter has a timeless elegant look that is refined yet opulent. Absolute perfection.

Luxurious product with a few quirks

I purchased this product in the color Platinum for my guest bedroom. It is light, warm and luxurious, and the color is neutral enough that it can blend with many other bedding choices I may make in the future. Right now, though, it is paired with another Eileen Fisher coverlet that also happens to be silk. My parents told me that they absolutely could not keep it on the bed--the silk against silk meant that this wonderful cover kept sliding off onto the floor. I'm not sure what the solution will be other than to purchase a new coverlet in a material that isn't silky. Also, if your skin gets rough in the winter--especially your hands and fingers--be careful because the silk will "catch" on your rough skin when you make the bed.

I splurged recently and purchased new bedding (from pillow cases to quilts to bedskirt) from the Eileen Fisher Home Collection. My favorite piece is the Seasonless Silk Comforter--WOW. So soft and useful in all seasons. This collection makes one feel like a queen.
