Signature Flannel Bedding by Garnet Hill

Also in Twin Extra-Long! Crafted in Europe in the traditional English style, our Signature Flannel bedding has a tighter weave than most flannels, making it weightier and more durable. It is also lightly napped to a soft finish, which reduces pilling. Our universal fitted sheet is elasticized all the way around for an easier fit. 12-inch pocket depth. Germany. Watch out! Date: February 26, 2010
I bought these in red this winter and after 3 washes they continue to shed and not just a little - A LOT. I just washed (3rd time) them w/ a load of dark clothes that are now covered in red bits and pieces. My laundry floor is also covered in little pieces The sheets are great, soft and warm - but very unhappy about this!

Love these sheets! Date: January 26, 2010
The GH signature flannel sheets are without question the most substantial, yet very soft, flannel sheets I've ever owned, and I will order more of them. Oh, they've also been washed and dried multiple times since receiving them in December, and I couldn't be happier!

sheets soft, but very muted color Date: January 11, 2010
Just received these sheets and yes they feel very soft. However the lavender color is very muted - really more like a very light gray with just the slightest hint of lavender/purple.

Best Flannel Sheets Ever Date: January 9, 2010
These flannel sheets are amazing - and perfect to keep you toasty during the sub-zero winter weather. Highly recommend these sheets - especially tlove the Oatmeal color which is an undyed, unbleached natural color.

My Favorite Sheets! Date: January 8, 2010
I was hesitant about purchasing these sheets because I thought they would be too warm for me. Surprisingly, they are extremely comfortable...very soft and not at all clingy. I purchased the comforter cover as well. Again, excellant quality . I Love these sheets!

Our favorite winter sheets Date: January 3, 2010
These are really nice quality flannel - we enjoy them far more than the other set of flannel sheets we own, mostly because they are soft enough that pajamas don't stick to them (trust me, it's no fun trying to sleep on sheets that grab on to your pjs - you end up waking up a tangled mess). These sheets wash well, too: they have stood up to our punishing hot water washes with no problems.

Wonderful softness and superior warmth Date: November 29, 2009
I bought these sheets for my king size bed. From the very first night I have marveled at how soft and comfortable these sheets are. They are a treat to slide into at night and rather difficult to leave behind in the morning. I have enjoyed a great night sleep in comfort and softness since putting them on my bed and my husband, who rarely comments on such things has stated that he absolutely loves them. I will be buying a secondary pair to use while laundering these. I never want to be without these sheets and would love to have them in every color. Good job Garnet Hill!

can't wait to go to bed! Date: November 27, 2009
I bought these at a great clearance price and was extremely impressed with the quality. These thick flannel sheets did fit over my matress and matress topper, no problem. Buy these, you won't be sorry. I am ordering a set for my mother-in-law right now.

Sooo soft, but pillow case problems Date: November 16, 2009
These sheets are so soft. However, be forwarned that the standard pillow cases are too short. I returned them twice thinking that it was an isolated problem with the first set, but have had to order the king cases so that my standard pillows don't hang out the end. While this has been a problem, GH customer service has been so nice and helpful.

NOT THE QUALITY I EXPECTED Date: November 14, 2009
I recently purchased these sheets for my daughter who is away at college in a cold climate. She had requested flannel sheets but I was having trouble finding them to fit the twin XL mattress that most colleges use. I was thrilled to find them available at Garnet Hill. At first I was going to purchase the Paintbrush Flannel but after reading several reviews that indicated that they pilled I ended up purchasing the more expensive Signature Flannel. I ordered the twin XL fitted sheet, twin flat sheet, and a pair of pillow cases in white. They were expensive for college student use but I thought it was worth it since my daughter would be using them for several winters while she was away at school. I read all the reviews and I guess I must be the only one who got a bad set but they are just that - bad. Thankfully I decided to wash them before I sent them to to my daughter otherwise I would not have discovered what poor quality they were. I washed and dried them as noted. When they came out of the dryer they were not soft and comfy they were thick, stiff, and not pilled but I would say they looked rough. Then as I was folding them, I noticed that both the fitted sheet and flat sheet had a line of blue thread going through the white sheets. They looked like they were seconds. Now I have to take the time to send them back (hopefully without spending any more money) and I am back to square one trying to find twin XL flannel sheets.

Warm & cozy but too short! Date: October 28, 2009
I love these flannel sheets but after using them for the first time, I discovered it doesn't fit my pillow top mattress! My mattress is 12" deep and the standard queen size doesn't reach the bottom so it only covers half the mattress (probably only about 9" deep). I am so bummed b/c I got these sheets on sale and now they are no longer available for the same price. I noticed in some other flannel styles there are extra-deep sheets so I might have to return these and try the extra deep sheets - hopefully these will fit.

I ordered the comforter cover in white. So I do not have complaints like some others of the colors as white is white...Quality is excellent, very warm and soft. Overall very pleased with the purchase.

Wonderful flannel, mediocre shade Date: September 30, 2009
I am not sure it's possible to find a sturdier, softer flannel in this price range. I've bought Garnet Hill flannel for more than 15 years and it lasts almost forever.

I must say, however, the colors disappoint. I recently bought a full set of sage, and the color is drab and flat, even more muted than the photo in the catalog and on the Web site. Why does the lesser quality paintbrush flannel come in so many lovely choices?

Regardless, I will keep buying this flannel, it's heavenly.

Very soft, but color drab Date: September 28, 2009
In full disclosure, I chose to buy these flannel sheets because they were on sale and not for the color selections. That being said, my first color choice was sold out so I picked the dew drop gray. My sheets arrived today and this review is only about the color and texture since I haven't actually slept on them or washed them. The gray is gray. A very, very pale gray that almost looks like a dirty white or the color of plain newsprint. Would have liked them a little more on the gray end of the spectrum. Not sure what colors I will pair with it but will definitely keep.

Signature Flannel Bedding Date: August 16, 2009
I have to say this product was the best I have ever had the quality is surperb to say the least. It washed and dried beautifully without any pilling. It's really soft and I can't wait to use them I know that they will be warm and comfy and will hold up for a long time.
As far as Garnet Hills it's the best company I've had the pleasure to do business with they go beyond any other company I've dealt with and I will buy again from them whenever I have the chance.

I do love the flannel fabric and have another set in pink. However I was disappointed in the pearl blue color. It just looks gray to me. In the picture it looks like a lovely pale blue.
